This example has a hand written text in ink by Schneemann “ghost book back NYC Carolee Feb 2001”. The book was signed by Schneeman for Paul Robertson when she first met him at a Chelsea performance and the artist was annoyed he had asked her to sign an “old” book rather than buy one of the new ones she had at the gallery. Later Schneemann would become friends with Robertson and he later curated her first British show in nearly 20 years in Edinburgh in 2012.
