NYC: Gagosian, 1999
172 x 64cm (approx.) artist designed poster and catalogue which is folded down to approx. 30 x 21cm (due to hand folding this is not a quite accurate finished size). The one side of the poster is mirrored with a small line of black text by Gordon and on the other side is a 172 x 32cm, image of Gordon’s “I’m looking at you” filmic appropriation from Scorsese’s Taxi Driver and on the remaining part of the sheet a screen play by Hal Hartley composed of email messages received from Douglas Gordon in December 1998 and an introductory text by Amy Taubin. There is a slight closed tear at the very intersection of the posters central fold and on the front panel there is s 2 x 0.8cm (approx) paper scuff where the surface of the black paper has come away due to a removal of an adhesive sticker. Scarce.
