20 x 17.5cm, original cotton handkerchief which has had 16 plastic false teeth samples (used to match single false teeth against real teeth in dental clinics) arranged in a circle around an appropriated image of teeth over drawn with dashes and arrows. The collage has the text at the bottom,in pencil “I.H. Finlay to H. Chopin” and on the back is dedicated by G. Bertini to Norguet (a French collector and friend of Chopin). This work was sold by Norguet to my source in the 1990s. The work is a response to both Finlay’s work and more obviously Chopin who had created works in this circular style but by their friend Bertini. This is in VG+ condition and is unique.
