Paris: Beaux Arts, 1998
29 x 22cm, printed folder with colophon content of a 28.5 x 22cm, unpaginated (c.200pp) special edition of the Beaux Arts magazine which was released on the occasion of Buren’s interview with Jerome Sans. The magazine has no content other than the first five pages are printed with a black, blue, green, red and yellow stripe along the right edge which are cut diagonally so that all the colours can be seen without opening the magazine and the rear five pages are also printed in the same colours but full page and with no cut-aways. All the other pages are blank. The colophon indicates that there were only 120 numbered copies released of this special edition but this appears to be an unnumbered copy. In any case this is a rare artist’s book – the bottom right first few pages have a slight crease to them where it was slightly dog-eared from not being put in the folder with care but else this is near fine.
