UNTITLED (JESUS ON A SPITFIRE). 2018. UNIQUE WORK FROM A SERIES.

Unique work 2019 – 54 x 46 x 16cm (approx). Ceramic with glaze. A blasphemous sculpture of a crucified Jesus nailed to the front of a British Spitfire airplane (which was the victor of the Battle of Britain against the Nazis). Harvey did a number of such works – all different using different colours of glaze, all hand made and different sizes. this was the largest of the series and thee overall colour is grey-green. Unique.
