Here we offer an extensive and significant collection of 91 posters designed or approved by Joseph Beuys and 9 posthumous posters from exhibitions relating to the artist.
Twenty-seven of the cards are signed by Beuys and sometimes rubber stamped. Some are regarded as edition multiples in the Schellmann catalogue raisonne.

Dusseldorf: s.p. (Beuys), 1970<BR> 61.2 x 43cm, black and green text on white. The manifesto calling for direct democracy and for support for a green-red position in the German elections. Written by Beuys, Jonas Hafner and Johannes Stuttgen. This is one of two variants on the design. Folded and with a small hole where the folds meet due to wear else VG. Signed by Beuys. Aachen, s.p. (Beuys), 1970. 32 x 44cm, 2pp - unused cover of an Art Intermedia catalogue which has been rubber stamped by Beuys 14 times with the Fluxus Zone West stamp to create an unique small poster. On the reverse the text for the outer cover of the book. NOT in Prestel. VG+.

Napoli: Modern Art Agency, 1971<BR> 190.8 x 100.3cm, brown on white offset lithographic poster showing Beuys walking towards the camera with the facsimile holograph text "La rivolozione siamo noi" (the revolution starts with me). This image is one of the most famous of Beuys' works (and is an object multiple printed on plastic but here on paper). An extremely large poster (close to lifesized) which is in VG+ condition and conservationally framed in wood and glass. Kassel/Heidelberg: Museum Fridericanum/Edition Staeck, 1972<BR 121 x 63.3cm, black on brown paper offset lithographic limited edition poster for the boxing match for direct democracy that took place at Dokumenta 5 between Beuys and Abraham David Christian.
