Toronto: s.p. (Lexier), 2017 18 x 26 x 2.5cm, two part printed white cardboard box content of a 128 x 128cm printed silk scarf scarf with a design by Lexier based on his tapestry installed in Brookfield Place, Calgary which shows a forest in an abstract cross-stitch pattern. This scarf was issued in 50 hand numbered examples which were only given out as gifts by the artist to collaborators in the project. It is not only rare but a beautiful artwork in fine unworn condition.
Oslo/Leipzig: Foot, 2022 21 x 15cm, 16pp (self cover). Artist's book which displays a found illustration of a face from a book and has numbers added to it on every additional page. One of 100 such books issued. VG+. Two punch holes for storage as issued.
Toronto: The Power Plant, 2023 3cm dia. (approx) metal coin struck on both dies with a design after Lexier. The coin was the prize for any visitor to the museum who found all of the five letters found on the coin in locations around the building. An additional 10 coins were released as a prize online where those who sent in the anagrams possible from the letters "L A R T E" "won" a coin. This is one of the latter. The exact number of coins distributed is not known. JOINT: Printed limited edition letter with the text: This envelope was sent by Micah Lexier on a ......... from 88 Seaforth Avenue, Toronto, ON, Canada M6K and was received on a ......" Lexier has written "Monday" in the appropriate space and hand addressed the envelope to Paul Robertson in Scotland. Mailed and franked. The envelope has been opened along the top reasonably tidily. JOINT: Printed limited edition letterhead with the text: This letter was written by Micah Lexier on the .... of ,,,,, in the year ..... at 88 Seaforth Avenue, Toronto, ON, Canada M6K and was received on the .... day of ..... in the year ...." Lexier has written "10th", "July: and "2023" in the appropriate spaces and has added a short handwritten text: "P.R./YOUR COIN/M.L.". Folded for mailing else VG+.
Gorebridge: Show & Tell Editions, 2022 30 x 21cm , double sided "advent calendar" printed red on white with 25 perforated windows that can be opened in order during the 25 days prior to Xmas. The image on each window can be cut out and used to create a jigsaw creation - either a car or a horse - using all of the same shapes. The possible solutions are printed on the back of the calendar. Lexier has long been fascinated with games and children's toys as well as paper modifications such as perforations. While this was published in 2022, it is not specific to any year so may be used for this festive season or any really). One of 100 unnumbered examples. Fine.
N.P.: Fifthsyllable, 2024 30 x 21cm, 4pp. A single number of this conceptual art bulletin issued by the artist Scott Robertson. This is the twealth number of the series. The sheet instructs the owner how to interact with Lexier on a "Punch Drawing" collaboration. The sheet asks for you to send the back page to Leexier with instructions on where to punch holesand then this unique work will be mailed back to you.
