8 x 5.7 c 1.8cm, two part silver box with embossed lid content of a 7.5 x 5cm, 4pp leaflet insert and a 8 x 5.5 large metal pin badge in the shape of a uneven cross with safety pin attachment and foam. This is one of only 79 example (one for each year of Lexier’s grandfather’s life) and is an enlargement of the grandparent’s handwriting.
A larger sculptural installation made up of 29,064 such Xs was installed at the Scurfield Hall in the University of Calgary in 1994.
This is a rare relatively early Lexier work. Near fine in like box.
