Paris: National Convention, 1793
19,5 x 23,5cm, 4pp. A decree issued in January 1792 by the National Convention conseil exécutif provisoire regarding the appointment of commissionaires for the Loir & Cher Longchamps Villers & Couthon and for the Eure et Loire – namely the citizens Lecointre-Puyraveaux, Maure and Biroteau. The document is signed in type by Monge & Garot and with blind stamps. Some ink annotations (probably contemporary). The paper is still in very good condition with the green colouring mostly unfaded, there are some small pin holes caused by the printing process on the left and the folding on the sheet is a little irregular but overall VG+. Vintage document from the height of the French Revolution in the period immediately after the regicide of Louis XVI (or rather Citizen Louis Capet) for treason.
