London: Brook Street Gallery. n.d. (1962)
21 x 21cm, 8pp including original wrappers. Exhibition catalogue of later paintings by the surrealist – two full page, red on blue card lithographs tipped-in and 3 b/w full page works. 26 works are noted in detail. Introduction by Herbert Reid. Agar famously did not know she was a surrealist but rather was “declared” one by Penrose who included her in the 1936 surrealist exhibition – something which Agar was so delighted with she happily accepted the label.
Formerly a library copy with blindstamp (which has been cancelled) otherwise very good.
