Amsterdam: Staalplaat, n.d. (1987)
21 x 14cm outer printed plastic folder with mimeographed insert and standard audio-cassette.
The cassette contains a live recording of FNTC’s famous “3 dimensional(!) hearplay” where the audience was blindfolded and allowed to recline on couches while the sound issued from all sides of the theatre (a so-called Sonor Theatrum). The Radio Art Foundation was in fact Willem de Ridder’s organisaiton and the play featured Jon Rose alongside Cora de Ridder, Hessel Veldman, Nick Nicole, Willem de Ridder. The event was recorded and mixed by: Ben (Balance) Uijtjens and originally performed, recorded and mixed in the summer of 1986.
“Use headphones while laying down.”.
The ink on the mimeograph has unavoidably been transferred to the outer plastic and can be seen when the leaflet is removed, the printing also is not of the best quality but else this is in VG+ condition. A very very scarce item indeed.
