Halifax: Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, 1971
57 x 57.8cm, black on white offset lithograph displaying two photographs of the artist who set himself the task of biting as many parts of his body as he could. One image shows him biting his leg and the resultant teethmarks and alongside this are ink pressings from the various indents he made with facsimile texts. A very early work in the area of body art which is in some ways a companion to “Kiss Off” the other work he did in Halifax.
Issued by the Canadian College in only 50 examples – each signed and numbered by Acconci on the sheet bottom right and with blindstamp this is a rare early work in conceptual art in VG+ condition.
