28 x 22cm, 206pp plus boards and typographic dust jacket. Exhibition catalogue for the seven artists (all of whom were very established practitioners by 1990).
Each artist has a section in the book dedicated to them and Boltanski has 10pp which has images of works not seen elsewhere before plus one fold out in full colour of an installation (here "Inventaire des objets appartenu a la jeune fille de Bordeaux").
VG but the dust jacket is slightly torn near the spine.

Haute-Vienne: Musee Departmental, 1990
17 x 12.5cm, 4pp announcement card for a joint show between the partners. Inserted inside the card are two colour offset lithographic prints on thin paper. Boltanski's is a brightly coloured image of some purple flowers on a purple background. VG+.

1990n.d. 21 x 15cm, 2pp announcement card for a group show with works from Anselmo, Richard Artswager, John Baldessari, Baumgarten, Cragg, Deacon, Horn, Oldenberg, Munoz, Penone, Shutte, Struth, Toroni, Wall, Lawrence Weiner as well as Boltanski. The front is an uncredited drawing based on the gallery floor plan. A mailed example. VG+....

NYC: n.p., 1990
5 x 5cm, colour transparency with a colour image of the Boltanski sculpture ""Reserve of Dead Swiss"" from 1990 which was shown at the MCA in Chicago. Handwritten legend on the plastic - a slide provided by a gallery to press or clients. VG+.

76 x 51cm, full colour offset lithographic exhibition poster with an image of one of the "falling angels" shadow play works. VG+.

312 x 26 x 4cm, two part cardboard box with tipped on label content of 18 items some of which are reprints of early Boltanski artist's books.
The contents are four booklets with new content:

"Christian Boltanski: Reconstitution" exhibition catalogue, with essay by Lynn Gumpert, 40 pp., with numerous colour and black and white illustrations
"Christian Boltanski 1944-90" catalogue of works, exhibitions and bibliography, 36 pp., with numerous black and white illustrations
"Christian Boltanski: an Interview with Georgia Marsh, " 48 pp., with five black and white illustrations


And five reprints of soft cover artist's books:

The box applies Boltanski's interest in reconstituting the past to himself and his artistic career. Some of the books are hard to tell from the original first editions which is an issue for book dealers.
VG+ contents in like box although one booklet has slightly rusted staples. ...

Jerusalem: The Israel Museum, 1989
27 x 21cm, 40pp plus card covers. Exhibition catalogue - part in English, part in Hebrew - with 16 b/w images of installations and works. Interview with the artist which importantly discusses his feelings being back in Jerusalem, the politics and his choice to regard himself as Jewish from the age of four. VG+ although there is a numbered sticker on the spine which does not detract.

49 x 34.5cm, 8pp. Exhibition catalogue in the form of a large broadside with a text in German and English. by Remo Guidieri. Five large b/w images of works - Boltanski has an image from his comic performances on the back. VG+ although folded as issued by the gallery.

Moscow: Maison Centrale de L'Artiste, 1989
11 x 15.5cm, printed envelope in red and black on cream content of four different postcards with images of the exhibition and two 21 x 15cm, 2pp leaflets with texts in French and a reproduction of two press articles in Russian.
The exhibition catalogue in unusual format for a group show of French artists which included Boltanski, Daniel Buren, Sophie Calle, Robert Filliou,, Paul-Armand Gette, Jean le Gac, Annette Messager, Philippe Parreno, and Sarkis amongst others. The images on the cards do not seem to include any obvious Boltanski work. All VG+ in slightly word and minorly torn envelope.
