Venice: French Pavilion, 2010
42. x 30.4cm, 8pp, The artist's book and exhibiition catalogue for the magnificent major installation at the Venice Biennale where Boltanski was the official representative for France. The major installation consisted of a long roll of photographic images of baby faces which moved at speed over long distances on a scaffolding - every now and then the roll would stop and and image based on three section of different faces was projected onto a screen. The genetic lottery in life being paralleled in the work. Other installations displayed the numebr of deaths and births taking place world-wide during the exhibition. There is a text by Jacques Roubaud and an interview with the artist along with David Walsh and Jean-Hubert-Martin.
VG+ although folded for storage. Three versions in French, English and Italian were published - this collection holds an example of each.

Paris: Point d'ironie/Agnes b, 2010
43.4 x 30.7cm, 8pp, A single number of the artist's periodical which invites a single artist to create an artist's book. This is one of two such publications by Boltanski in the series - he also did number 26, eight years earlier. The pages display one of the artist's major installations in the Palais des Beaux-arts in Paris where he massed vast numbers of second-hand clothing. Folded for storage else VG+. Published in a large edition size of 10,000 copies and distributed in the various boutique of Agnes b.

NYC: Park Avenue Armory, 2010 27 x 19cm, 8pp (single sheet, opens out to 38 x 54cm). Exhibition brochure which when open displays a poster photograph of one of Boltanski's clothing installations as well on the outside a tin box installation. This was Boltanski's most ambitious project in the States to date with a number of different works displayed in the 55,000 square foot building. VG+. ...

VItteaux: Les Presses du réel, 2010
21.2 x 12.4cm, 44pp plus card covers. Exhibition catalogue with 4 colour images and 4 b/w images of shadow projections onto the outside of buildings from silhouettes cut out by the artist. Eight b/w lithographs reproduce the cut outs. Essay in French by Estelle Beauseigneur and an interview with Boltanski with Xavier Douroux. VG+.
