This is the very rare magazine by the urban guerrilla group “Japanese Red” with many b/w illustrations. The magazine was issued in limited edition of circa 50 copies with the a fictional contact address of the ‘Political Review Japan Committee’ in Tokyo but rather produced in Beirut, Lebanon.
The Japanese Red Army grouping was originally affiliated with the Red Army Faktion in Germany but detached their support in 1971. The group had to act very carefully as most of their membership and leadership were arrested in Tokyo in 1970 and later were involved in killings (bizarrely mostly of their own members) and a siege of their training camp by the military. One source suggests at most only 40 people were involved in the group. It voluntarily dissolved in 2001 although it did attempt to claim the attack on the twin Towers in that year as their own – which was absurd attention seeking. All VG+. Rare.
PRICE IS FOR ALL EIGHT NUMBERS AS A GROUP.
