30 x 21cm, 1pp Press release explaining the (at the time) highly controversial action of Uriburu who tried to ‘paint’ the Rhine using dye to supposedly demonstrate his environmental concerns and protesting increasing pollution of the waterway. The action was originally planned to take place in Cologne but it was cancelled due to objections of the local authorities so was eventually staged due to the intervention of Beuys in
Düsseldorf. The action was later followed by an exhibition showcasing photographs, drawings and documentation as well as the above multiple.
