Paris: Point d'Ironie, 2021 42 x 30cm, 8pp (self cover) a reprint of Nr 7 of the artist's serial publication Point d'Ironie that was given out free by Agnes B in 10,000 copies. Boltanski along with Hans Ulrich Obrist was the instigator of the publication and this reprint was issued in response to the artist's death in July of 2021. The reprint has four appropriated photographs from a girls' school in Hamburstrasse in Berlin in 1938 and Boltanski notes that "we will never know what these young girls were looking at and what made them laugh that day." Exhibition catalogue for Boltanski's last ever exhibition - various large scale works relating to Les Suisse Morts and a show of artist's books. Many illustrated in colour with a text in French. Sadly Boltanski died on Bastille Day (July 14th) during the run of this exhibition. VG+....

Paris: Connaissance des Arts, 2020 28.5 x 21cm, 66pp plus original glossy wrappers. A hors series number of the arts journal here dedicated to Boltanski's last large scale exhibition in the Centre Pompidou. Many colour images of works and of the artist throughout and essays in French by Guilaume Morel, Guitemie Maldonado, Myriam Boutoulle and an interview with Annick Collona-Cesari as well as short texts explaining individual works. Standard 7inch single, 45 rpm in card sleeve. The music consists of two French lullabies (Il Était Un Petit Navire and Sainte-Elizabeth) and a traditional song from Bretagne (Fais Dodo Colas Mon Petit Frère).
This edition was probably made up from unused records from the deluxe edition of Boltanski's 1991 release "Livres", in which 60 copies of the record was included. This later re-release is one of 20 numbered copies each with a unique cover (an original photograph tipped onto the card sleeve. This version is unopened and unplayed - and in original plastic wrapping (hence the poor quality of the image here).
