10.5 x 15cm, 2pp b/w postcard issued as an edition during the group show "Les Paravents" held in Venice. On the front is the well known work where the artist shows two photographs of himself side by side with a gap of 5 years and three months between them. He looks older of course, time is disappearing as is his life. VG+. Scarce.

The promotional card for the object multiple Der Tisch (a film of the aktion of the same name where Anatol Herzfels, Ulrich Meister, Joachim Duckwitz, Johannes Stuttfen sat at a table reading texts while Beuys made a "hand-aktion" in the corner of the room. One image of the multiple (a film of the event in canister painted with Braunkreuz) reproduced. VG+.

Single number of the art journal, with a number of text and graphic contributions by Robert Filliou, Jacques Monory, Pierre Tilman, Le Gac, Peter Klasen, Daniel Biga, Richard Hamilton, Gérard Titus-Carmel, Rémi Esnault, Françoise Thieck, Pierre Della Faille, Claude Held, and César as well as a four page contribution by Boltanski - which is known as "Album de photo de la famille d." but internally is denoted as "Six Sounvenirs de Jeuness de Christian Boltanski" above a text in French. Fifteen small found b/w photographs are reproduced. VG+. ...

The poem describes the fact that the boat is needing repair and is somewhat old - and ends with a Finlay trope - a patched sail. 27.5 x 21cm, 230pp, original card wrappers with typographic dust jacker. Exhibition Catalogue for a major show of sound texts, concrete poetry and vidsual texts which displayed work from over 100 artists from all over the world. Those artists included Augusto de Campos, Carlo Belloli, Claus Bremer, Decio Pignatari, Diter Rot, Daniel Spoerri, Andre Thomkins, Max Bense, Ferdinand Kriwet, Henri Chopin, Heinz Gappmayr, Oyvind Fahlstrom, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Mathias Goeritz, Eugen Gomringer, Hansjorg Mayer, Timm Ulrichs, Hiro Kamimura, K. Katue, Kawashima, Emmett Williams. Essay texts in Dutch, English and German language. The catalogue is organised by country of origin so Finlay has a page of works (Homage to Malevich and Au Pair) alongside those of Furnival, Cobbing, Morgan, dsh and others.
The cheap paper is minorly browned after 50 years and there are minor closed tears to the dust jacket but overall VG+. A rare publication.

Paris: Sonnabend Gallery, 1971
22 x 13.5cm, 8pp (self cover). The artist's fifth book which has an alternative title: "ESSAIS DE RECONSTITUTION D'OBJETS AYAN APPPARTENU A CHRISTIAN BOLTANSKI ENTRE 1948 ET 1954". The book consists of 45 examples of objects from his childhood that Boltanski has tried to recreate in a variety of methods - they are mostly in text description but there are four small b/w images of some of the items. The items are mostly in clay or similar modelling materials and shown in metal drawers as if in an exhibition.
An important book which reflects Boltanski's interest in metal storage and the authority that such placements give to the objects. In VG condition but with some rust on staples.

Toronto: CEAC: Centre for Experimental Art and Communication, n.d. (1971) 43 x 28.5cm, 1pp black on white offset lithographic poster for a series of events in September 1971 which includw Yalkut's ""Self-Obliteration"" and "Festival Mix"" multiscreen projection. The photograph in the design is alsoby Yalkut. Others included in the festival were Michael Snow with a piano concert, Shitbandit in a performance, a film of Hermann Nitsch's Abreakaktionnesepeil and Willoughby Sharp's "The anchoring of activity; breaking frame"; a video performance. Victor Pisani also performed a "North American Premiere performance'. Folded for storage else VG....
